Great value for money – Southwark – ideal for couples and families

The ibis hotel chains are a safe bet. They are already successfully operating in other European cities such as Madrid, Milan and Paris. Today I have 2 picks for you that are among the best hotels in London. The first, ibis London Blackfriars, is on the south bank of the Thames, a short walk from Southwark Tube Station and close to Waterloo Station. There is a bus stop right across the street, and you can also go to grocery stores or restaurants nearby (one is right inside the hotel). 2. Blue Bells Hotel

Cheap London Hotels in Nothing Hill – the perfect choice for couples and families

Blue Bells is a small, cosy hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, ideal for couples and families. The equipment is a bit older, but it has a touch of flair. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is rich. There is a small park directly opposite the hotel, and you can walk to Kensington Gardens or Hyde Park in a few minutes to hire pedalos. There is a Tesco, shops, restaurants and the famous Portobello Market nearby. Nothing Hill Gate Underground Station is just a short walk away, with 3 intersecting lines, making it easy to get to much of London. Great value for money – City of London – ideal for couples

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is located on the edge of the City of London. The oldest part of London, famous for its skyscrapers. The hotel has a great location just 5 minutes from the Underground and a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, where the Stansted Airport bus stops. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds and rich breakfasts. The cherry on top is the rooftop bar and terrace, which offers spectacular views of London. The hotel has a restaurant, but there are also a number of options in the surrounding area. I recommend going to Shoreditch, which is famous for its lively restaurants and pubs, or Leadenhall Market and Spitafields Market. The Holiday Inn Express London is ideal for those looking for accommodation outside of central London. Gatwick Airport is only 35 minutes away. The price is slightly higher than the London average, but if you’re looking for a hotel near the biggest sights, this is a good choice. 6. ibis London City Shoreditch

Great value for money – Shoreditch – ideal for couples and families

Hotel ibis London City – Shoreditch is my second tip from the ibis hotel chain. They have excellent breakfasts, cosy and modern rooms and a restaurant with a bar. The hotel is a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, where the bus from Stansted Airport stops. Tesco Express is right next to the hotel. Sights such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral are within walking distance. The Shoreditch area is our favourite with lots of little shops, pubs, restaurants, markets (try Spitalfields Market) and especially street art amongst the brick houses. 7. Royal London Hotel by Saba

Cheap accommodation London – West London – ideal choice for couples and families

Royal Hotel London by Saba is located in West London, west of Hyde Park. The rooms are small, but quite sufficient for an overnight stay. Family rooms are also available. You can shop at Lidl, Tesco or the larger Olympia or Westfield shopping centres. A modern, design hotel on the south bank of the Thames in Southwark. On-site restaurant and bar with 24-hour reception. The plus side, apart from the stylish interior and comfortable beds, is the excellent location. The hotel is 15 minutes from Waterloo station. Within walking distance you have most of the sights such as Tate Moden, St Paul’s Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and more.
