Entrance fees and opening hours to Disneyland Paris 2024

Disneyland Paris is located about 32 km east of Paris in Chessy. The direct train from Paris stops right outside the park and takes just 37 minutes. When visiting Paris, it would be a shame to miss a visit to Disneyland, where you will find yourself for a while in a world full of fairy tales.

Reservations for Disneyland Paris are required. I recommend booking at least a day in advance – if you book tickets on the day of your visit, they are significantly more expensive.

Types of parks in Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris consists of two parks. Disneyland Park, based on classic Disney characters (Mickey Mouse, Minnie and others), was the first to be created. You will find a large number of attractions here, some of which are suitable for the youngest children and others for big children and adults.

They later added a second park called Walt Disney Studios Park. Here you can enjoy other attractions and also take a look behind the scenes of films such as Toy Story or Cars.

disneyland paris

When choosing your ticket, you choose whether you want to visit only 1 park, both parks and for how long.

1. One-day tickets to Disneyland Paris

You can choose from 3 types of tickets. The most popular type is the standard one-day tickets for a specific day.

Their price varies depending on when you visit Disneyland. Tickets are most expensive in summer, on weekends, at Christmas or during Valentine’s Day. On the other hand, tickets are cheapest in November, early December and January. Prices range from €56-99 and €52-91 for children aged 3-11.

Reservations for Disneyland Paris are required. I recommend booking at least a day in advance. If you book your tickets on the day of your visit, they are significantly more expensive – full admission is 105 € for everyone over 12 years old and 97 € for children 3-11 years old.

Price range for one-day tickets to Disneyland when purchased at least 1 day in advance:

Tickets are valid for unlimited use on all attractions – either in one of the parks or both (depending on which you choose). Tickets can be cancelled up to 3 days before departure.

2. Undated Disneyland tickets

Would you like to give tickets as a gift and you don’t have a date yet? Then they are perfect for you one-day undated tickets which are valid for up to 1 year from purchase.

Tickets are valid for unlimited use on all attractions – either in one of the parks or both (depending on which you choose). Once you have selected a date, you will need to make an additional reservation for a specific day.

3. Multi-day tickets to Disneyland

Are you planning to spend more days at Disneyland? Also on offer are discounted multi-day tickets for 2, 3 or 4 days. In this case, both parks are automatically included.

Opening hours in Disneyland

In high season, Disneyland Park is open from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM (09:30-23:00) and Walt Disney Studios Park is open from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM (09:30-22:00).

Disneyland Park is open on weekdays from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM (09:30-21:00) and on weekends from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM (09:30-22:00). Walt Disney Studios Park is open from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM (09:30-19:00) and from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM (09:30-21:00) on weekends.

Tips on how to enjoy Paris

Keep your stuff safe from pickpockets. Especially at the main tourist attractions.

Beware of scams. Twice during our visit we had someone try to extort money from us. And not once were they the kind of people you’d think at first glance. If someone stops you on the street out of the blue and wants to talk to you, be cautious.

Visit the most famous sights in the morning or late afternoon when the biggest crowds leave – the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe or the aforementioned Versailles.

Don’t miss Paris at night – every city takes on a completely different atmosphere at night. And in Paris it is no different. You can be taken out on the viewpoint of the Montparnasse skyscraper and enjoy a spectacular view of the city in the evening.

Have a real French Crêpes. They have them on almost every corner and they are delicious. Or a croissant in a French bakery or Boulangerie. How about macaroons at the Ladurée patisserie right on the Champs-Élysées?

Sit in the park and just relax. Like a local. There are plenty of chairs in the Luxembourg Gardens, the Palais Royal and the Tuileries Gardens for Parisians to sit, talk or read a book.

Drinking water can be taken from the drinking fountains or Fontaine Wallace. They are mostly green, cast iron and beautiful in their own right.

Public toilets can be found throughout central Paris. They are small metal boxes. There are also several pay toilets.
