Public transport in Stockholm is not cheap. With Stockholm Pass, you won’t have to buy extra tickets for transport around the city if you choose accommodation strategically close to the city centre, which can be reached on foot.<\/p>\n\n

    The sightseeing bus stops at 23 stations and the sightseeing boat at 9 locations. All the stops are close to the main attractions and sights, so you can easily take a bus or boat between them (always just show your card when you board) and you don’t have to use public transport at all.<\/p>\n\n

    How does Stockholm Pass work?<\/h2>\n\n

    As with most other tourist cards, you buy a Stockholm Pass for a set number of days, so you can schedule what attractions you want to visit and when. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    Stockholm Pass is available for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days.<\/a> <\/strong>It is valid for calendar days, so you need to think in advance whether it is worth activating your card late in the afternoon or in the morning. Regardless of whether you activate your card at 10:00 am or 3:00 pm, it counts as 1 day. <\/p>\n\n

    Once you have purchased your card, you will receive an email where you can simply download Stockholm Pass to your mobile phone. You don’t have to print anything.<\/p>\n\n

    The card is then activated by presenting your mobile phone at the gate of the first attraction<\/strong>. From now on, the card will be valid for the selected number of days. If you have a 2-day card and activate it on Saturday, for example, it will pay for the whole weekend. <\/p>\n\n
