It is known for its vibrant culture, fantastic architecture and industrial heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s plenty to do and see in Manchester, so you won&#8217;t be bored during your stay. Start by seeing some of the famous landmarks, such as Manchester Town Hall or the so-called &#8216;Queen of the North&#8217; &#8211; Manchester Cathedral. The basic rule of thumb is to book well in advance (especially if you want a car with an automatic transmission). Just fill in the details and show your ID and driving licence when you collect it (EU\/EEA citizens do not need an international driving licence). The price also includes insurance and free cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You choose the pick-up location when you book your car.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note: <\/strong>The road rules here are different from most of Europe. In the UK (and neighbouring <a href=\"https:\/\/smilingway.cz\/en\/rent-car-ireland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ireland<\/a>) you drive in the left lane and the steering wheel is on the right.
