This means you can&#8217;t avoid using public transport.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A popular way to save money on transport and entrance fees in Lisbon is the Lisboa Card. I recommend calculating your entrance fees from the article on <a href=\"https:\/\/smilingway.cz\/en\/things-to-do-in-lisbon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">what to see in Lisbon<\/a> &#8211; besides that, you will also find other useful information before your visit to Lisbon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Itinerary for one in Lisbon:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you only have one day to visit Lisbon, you will probably want to visit the most famous places in Lisbon. We will show you a very simple and relaxing itinerary.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can start your day at the Jeronymite Monastery (entrance fee 10 \u20ac) and from there move on to the Bel\u00e9m Tower (6 \u20ac). Both places should definitely be on your list of <a href=\"https:\/\/smilingway.cz\/en\/things-to-do-in-lisbon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">things to do in Lisbon<\/a>. The Jeronymite Monastery and the Bel\u00e9m Tower are located in the Bel\u00e9m district, accessible by tram 15.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At noon, we move to the city centre, where you can enjoy the view from the Arc de Triomphe on Pra\u00e7a do Com\u00e9rcio (3,50 \u20ac) and ride the iconic Santa Justa elevator (5,30 \u20ac), designed by a pupil of Gustave Eiffel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you only have 1 day in Lisbon, you can&#8217;t miss the view from Miradouro. Miradouro is a viewpoint on the hills of Lisbon, from which you will have Lisbon in the palm of your hand.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take the Gl\u00f3ria cable car to the Miradouro de S\u00e3o Pedro de Alc\u00e2ntara viewpoint (3,80 \u20ac). The rest of the day can be spent in the Alfama district, the oldest district of Lisbon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entrance fee alone would cost 28,60 \u20ac without the use of the Lisbon card. To this you need to add transport (day ticket 6,60 \u20ac). In total we would pay 35,20 \u20ac for this itinerary, i.e. we save 13,20 \u20ac. The next day we can add more places to the list that are definitely worth seeing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We head to the National Pantheon (4 \u20ac), which is beautiful inside and out. You can even climb to the top and enjoy the view from the spacious roof.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continue east to the National Museum of Decorative Tiles or Azulejos (5 \u20ac), which is literally a feast for the eyes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Carriage Museum (8 \u20ac) is also worth a visit. One of the best museums in Lisbon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll end the evening in the lively Bairro Alto district. To save ourselves the uphill climb, we&#8217;ll use the Ascensor da Bica (3,80 \u20ac) overground cable car. There are plenty of beautiful places around Lisbon where you can take a day trip. These include the popular Jeronymite Monastery and the Bel\u00e9m Tower. For this reason, it is worth buying tickets separately and adding a transport ticket.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A single ticket for transport in Lisbon costs 1,65 \u20ac and is valid for 60 minutes. A day ticket costs 6,60 \u20ac. In order to use the metro in Lisbon, you need to buy a Viva Viagem card for 0,50 \u20ac. To make your Lisboa Card worthwhile, it&#8217;s better to visit more places. At the same time, the longer you buy the card for, the more you save.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will only be in Lisbon for 1 day and that day will be Monday.
